About Our Panel Filters

Panel filters are made with two layers of media sealed around an internal support wire. If you consider each layer of media a “ply”, all ring panels are two-ply. Our technology layers fibers from coarse to fine creating multiple zones of particle capture.

The first layer of coarse fibers capture the largest dust particles, while the medium and fine fiber layers trap the largest volume of small particulate. The final layer of sticky tackifier locks the dust particles into the filter so they don’t migrate downstream.

Description

The MERV 7 Panles are constructed from two layers of polyester media, securely heat sealed around an internal support grid with two cross wires. The downstream media has an adhesive throughout the entire blue layer to enhance dust retention.

Poly Panels are available in 12 standard sizes along with custom sizes for special applications. A "Master Link" consisting of 36 of the same size panel can be cut off at length needed for use in side access housing. The continuous panel link provides 100% effective face area and eliminates dirt by-pass which can be a problem when using pads, throwaways, or pleats.
