About Our Panel Filters

Panel filters are made with two layers of media sealed around an internal support wire. If you consider each layer of media a “ply”, all ring panels are two-ply. Our technology layers fibers from coarse to fine creating multiple zones of particle capture.

The first layer of coarse fibers capture the largest dust particles, while the medium and fine fiber layers trap the largest volume of small particulate. The final layer of sticky tackifier locks the dust particles into the filter so they don’t migrate downstream.

Description

Our MERV 8 Panel Filter is an excellent choice for retention of small airborne particulates. Two layers of polyester are heat sealed around a recycled metal grid. The air inlet side of the filter is a white; multi-denier coarse polyester. The air exit side of the filter is fine-denier tackified polyester made using recycled plastics. With these dual layers of media, the adhesive stops and retains small particulate.
